Dealers in blackjack games sometimes suffer verbal, and even physical abuse from sour gambling players, that is why the floorman should always be checking up on them.
Hand - in blackjack, gambling players are dealt with two cards initially, and this is called a hand. If that player gets a hand of a 10 and an ace, then he has a blackjack.
Hard Total - in the gambling game of blackjack, as well as poker, ace is a very powerful card. That is why most gambling players who are into blackjack wishes to get an ace into their hands, or get them in the hits. However, if one's hand plus the hits do not have an ace, then it becomes a hard total. A hard total also happens when the ace counts as one, not as eleven. This is a case where if you count the ace as eleven, the total will exceed twenty one.

Hit - in blackjack, gambling players are initially given two cards, which is called a hand. If they decide to take more cards into their hand, then it is called a hit.
